Chapter Program
About
RutuChakra’s chapter program was started in August 2020. This program aims to involve individuals who represent the organization at their respective schools, colleges and communities to collectively increase the audience reach, and spread our message as effectively as possible.
We at RutuChakra stand for multiple causes, and we will leave no stone unturned. Thus, it is imperative to spread our message in the best ways possible, which is the main reason behind starting the Chapter Program.
Through this program, individuals and chapters will have several opportunities to conduct campaigns, workshops and distribution drives in areas to generate maximum awareness.
Why Should you Join?
We are looking for the next generation of activists, innovators, leaders who want their voices heard and are ready/excited to tackle one of the world’s taboo topics - Periods. Being a #PeriodWarrior means leading the Menstrual Movement at the forefront, changing laws and policies, but most importantly, empowering millions of menstruators. It means fighting for menstruators across the globe who don’t have access to hygienic resources and are shackled by menstrual discrimination every day.

Chapter Highlights
Vellore
Distributed over 2000 reusable cloth pads to 1000+ menstruators in Jammu and Kashmir in collaboration with the Rural Uthaan Mission
Meros
Distributed around 350 reusable pads and period kits at Abhaya Ashram, in collaboration with Mirai Me, empowering numerous menstruators.
Conducted a fundraiser campaign with KaraCare, raising over Rs. 3800+ . Also hosted several competitions linked to the fundraiser to raise additional funds.

Successfully started an Instagram & Youtube series called “Let’s Talk Periods!”, aiming to educate and empower menstruators from all backgrounds in society.
